Hey everyone I’m Brad and this is my Half Time Drill Driver review. I’ve been working in construction for many years now and I love doing it. However one thing that always bugged me was drilling a hole for wiring or drilling holes for screws.
First off, I have to say that the Half Time Drill Driver is incredible. Seriously I love using it and have wanted to have something like this for years. For a long time I worked in dentist and doctors’ offices installing different types of equipment and doing construction. Everyone’s been to the dentist or doctor before and knows that they like to have everything perfectly clean and sharp looking around the office. It’s very rare to find loose ends in their offices. By the time the crew I work on and myself would get into those offices, there’s no room for mistakes.
Every time we had to drill anything onto cabinets, walls or closets we had to pre-drill the hole with a pilot bit. Anyone who has ever had to pre-drill holes for screws every time they had to drill knows how annoying and how long it takes. Since everything had to be perfect we had to do that. But when I was doing that I would always have my tool belt on me. On one side I would keep my drill bits and screw driver heads. I would go back and forth from bits to drivers. Back and forth.

For a while I thought about getting a small electric drill because I hated switching back and forth between bits and drivers. For the longest time that’s how we did it. We would try to drill all the holes before having to screw everything down. That helped but was still a pain in the butt because it was impossible to pre-drill everything without missing a few spots.
One day while working, one of my buddies who works with me came in like any other day and started working alongside me. We got to the part where we had to start pre-drilling holes and he pulled out this really long weird looking drill bit. I asked him what on earth that was and made a little bit of fun of him because it looked so weird. He told me it was the Half Time Drill Driver. He explained to me that he could switch between screwing and drilling with no problem.
I asked him where he had found them and said he randomly found them online. He said he got two for the price of one and that he would let me have the second one. He brought it for me to work the next day and I couldn’t believe how much easier it made my life at work. Literally drill, flip, screw in. It was so easy it was ridiculous.
Ever since my friend gave me the Half Time Drill Driver, work has gone much smoother. Since then we both got raises because our boss liked the fact we spent our own money to do the job better. I got lucky because my friend paid for them. but I’ll take a raise any day. My friend was okay with it too.
